Good reading material, some short, some long.

In the best essay I've ever read on the topic, Stan Gundry talks about women in ministry: Women in Ministry: Can We Change? via JesusCreed.org

Scientists are studying why music gives us the chills at LiveScience.com

People can't accurately predict what will make them happy via The New Yorker

And if you've never read it, take some time to study what it meant to be a disciple in the first century by Ray VanderLaan at FollowTheRabbi.com

I love the links Dave!
On the music article, you may know this from your own study but in all of scripture relatively little is revealed about exactly how heaven is. We have 1 Corinthians that tells us the only things we know on earth that will still remain in heaven are faith, hope, and love and a bunch of prophecy in Revelation, a lot of which is about stuff we don't know on earth like new names and crowns. In fact, one of the only other things that we know really well on earth that will remain in heaven is music. That's why music has a particular annointing in worship, because music is heavenly. And, I think, why we can get chills when we listen to music.
